The short version
When you first visit crutan.com, only strictly-necessary storage runs. Nothing else, no analytics, no personalization, no identification, loads until you tell us what you're comfortable with using the consent banner. We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not sell your data. You can change or withdraw your choices anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.
Consent categories
- Strictly necessary — always on. Records your consent choice and keeps the site secure and functional. Cannot be switched off.
- Analytics & personalization — product analytics (PostHog), our first-party event log, and the on-device profile that remembers your visits and tailors what you see.
- Identity & enrichment — recognizes your organization (from details you share, your email/website domain, and a reverse-IP company lookup) and stores it in our database to personalize and follow up. We store a hashed IP, never the raw address.

What we don't use
- No third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social-media pixels.
- No cross-context behavioral advertising and no sale of your data.
- No covert device fingerprinting; enrichment runs only with your consent and is disclosed above.
Your choices
- Change or withdraw consent: use the Cookie settingslink in the footer at any time, it's as easy to say no as yes.
- Global Privacy Control / Do Not Track: if your browser sends either signal, we default the optional categories to off.
- Clear everything: clear site data for crutan.com in your browser settings.
- Block storage entirely:the site remains usable; you'll simply see the non-personalized version.
